Terms of Service

Welcome to FarmScout AI ("Service"). By accessing our software, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Description of Service

FarmScout AI provides cloud-based computer vision analysis of user-provided agricultural camera streams. We do not provide physical security, hardware warranties, or live human surveillance.

2. Account & Stream Access

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your camera stream credentials (RTSP links, login keys). You grant FarmScout AI a limited, non-exclusive license to ingest and process single image frames from your feed strictly for anomaly detection purposes.

3. Limitation of Liability

While our AI is highly optimized to detect biological anomalies (such as mold or wilting), agricultural environments are unpredictable. FarmScout AI does not guarantee 100% crop survival. You agree that FarmScout AI shall not be held financially or legally responsible for any crop loss, yield reduction, facility damage, or lost business revenue resulting from software errors, delayed alerts, or missed anomalies.

6. INDEMNIFICATION REGARDING SOFTWARE ACCURACY ("FALSE & MISSED ALARMS")

The user explicitly acknowledges that automated image recognition software may occasionally generate "False Alarms" (misidentifying healthy plants or root hairs as biological disease) or "Missed Alarms" (failing to identify an active biological pathogen).

Under no circumstances shall FarmScout AI, its founders, or its service providers be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

a) The premature disposal or destruction of healthy crops by the user in response to a software alert.

b) The unchecked spread of a crop disease due to a missed software notification or delayed SMS delivery.

c) Financial loss, lost restaurant contracts, or reputational damage arising from the operational performance of our cloud analytics.

The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FarmScout AI from any claims, losses, or expenses brought forth by third parties (including the user's commercial wholesale clients or restaurant partners) related to crop health outputs.

4. Fair Use & Bandwidth

To maintain network stability, our systems operate on an interval snapshot architecture. Continuous high-definition video streaming to our servers is strictly prohibited and may result in automated account suspension.

5. Subscription Billing

All subscription packages are billed automatically on a recurring monthly cycle via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your customer portal. Refunds are subject to a 30-day money-back guarantee policy.
